Eastern Shore Hockey Association (ESHA) Evaluations and Registration Policy and Procedures:
Please review the following information regarding ESHA’s policies related to evaluations and payment of fees for participation with our program. By completing registration and participating in evaluation you expressly acknowledge receipt of this policy document and agree to the terms set forth herein:
*All players intending to participate in the ESHA tryouts are required to pay a $100 nonrefundable registration deposit in advance of the tryout sessions. Please note that this initial fee is non-refundable. However, it does apply toward the regular season registration fees.
*On or before the first night of tryouts, all players intending to participate in tryouts must complete the full registration, including waivers. Please remember that the player must have a valid USA Hockey confirmation number for the upcoming season in order to register. The previous season’s USA Hockey number is not acceptable.
* Any player who fails to pay the initial $100 deposit will not be permitted to participate in tryouts.
Payment and Refund Policy:
EASTERN SHORE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION accepts Master Card or Visa, or payment by check or cash. Registration is not complete without electronic signatures on the Payment Agreement and Consent-to-Treat that are included in online registration.
In addition, the Waiver of Liability, Release Assumption of Risk & Indemnity Agreement AND the Participant Code of Conduct (acknowledged by a check box during online registration) MUST be PRINTED out and a hard copy handed in to the head coach or designated team manager.
* No skater will be allowed on the ice until these forms have been received*
Families with more than one registered player in ESHA will be offered the following discount(s): The discount applies to all levels. First player - full price, Second and subsequent players - $200 discount off of season fees.
Goalie Discounts (Peewee and older only)
A $200 discount off of the season fees will be offered to the first 2 (two) goalies registered and paid in full per team that provide their own goalie equipment.
Discounts are applied during registration but will not be final until after all payments have been received. ESHA reserves the right to place the $200 back on player’s account if requirements are not satisfied.
Absent a season-ending injury or forced relocation preventing reasonable travel to the ESHA rink (TCCC), all fees and payments are non-refundable. Players and their families agree that this is reasonable in view of ESHA’s obligation for USA Hockey Insurance, CBHL Fees, uniform purchases, binding ice contracts and the need to ensure that rosters have sufficient players to comply with league rules and remain competitive.
In addition, no refunds shall be given to any parent, guardian, or player suspended for violating the USAH or ESHA code of conduct.
